VELUX, skylight and rooflight cleaning
The position of a roof window matters as much as its size. A window near the roof edge may present different access options from one above an extension or high on a steep roof. Tell us the number of windows and show their position in a whole-building photograph taken from the ground.
Roof windows, skylights and rooflights
A skylight above a clear path can be a different job from a rooflight above an extension or high on a steep roof. Send a photograph showing where each window sits in relation to the building, along with the number of windows you want cleaned.
What affects the price?
- The number and size of roof windows
- Roof height, pitch and the position of each window

Call 07511 130355 for a free, no-obligation quote. The price and scope are agreed for your property before booking.
Before your visit
Tell us how many roof windows you have, their height and position, and whether they can rotate for access. Photos help us assess the practical options before providing a quote.
Velux window cleaning questions
Can every roof window be reached?
Access varies with roof height, pitch and window position. We will assess your windows first and explain any limitations. Glass Ninjas is an independent cleaning business, not affiliated with VELUX.
Will cleaning remove misting between the panes?
No. Moisture trapped inside a sealed glazing unit is different from dirt on the outside surface. Cleaning exterior glass does not repair glazing seals or remove moisture between panes.
Do you clean roof windows from other brands?
Yes, enquiries are welcome for other roof window brands as well as VELUX. Suitability depends on their position, condition and access.
Can roof windows be included with my house windows?
Ask for both in the same quote and identify each roof window separately. They may need different access arrangements from the other exterior windows.
Does the service include opening or repairing roof windows?
The service concerns cleaning accessible exterior glass. Do not assume it includes repairs, seal replacement or opening mechanisms. Let us know about any operational problems before arranging a visit.
